Comma Press is a new publishing venture set up to offer established and aspiring writers the opportunity to publish short fiction where few other publishers are. By working in conjunction with mainstream magazines and book distributors it aims to explore
Submitting stories to Comma is taken as agreement that they will not be submitted elsewhere until accepted or rejected by Comma. In the case of the annual anthology, editors will not enter into correspondence with authors between the deadline and notification dates. A maximum of two stories will be accepted by any one writer.
Stories should be between 800 and 5000 words, ideally, though stories falling either side of these limits will always be considered if they are of sufficient quality. Submissions should be emailed to ra.page@commapress.co.uk, as Word for PC or RTF attachments, with the cover note and full contact details included inside the attachment itself (i.e. not just in the email). Submissions should also be accompanied by an A4, one-sided, double-spaced hard copy snail-mailed to the postal address (Comma Press, 2nd Floor, 24 Lever Street, Manchester M1 1DW)
